Glencoe
Glencoe Outdoor Centre is a long established independent outdoor centre. We’ve been back leading SU Holidays there since 2014 because of their experience and facilities for a higher level of outdoor activities.
The centre is based in a quiet part of Glencoe village and we tend to move off by minibus to activities at their Ballachulish waterfront or elsewhere across Lochaber and beyond.
After a day’s activities there is plenty of drying room space, then off to the showers, dining room, lounge or other parts of the house and grounds to relax. There are 35 beds across seven dorms meaning that events here are a good size for getting to know everyone.
Glencoe village is a stop on the CityLink bus route from Fort William to Glasgow. Our campers can make use of the village shop rather than running our own tuckshop at the event.

Don't expect a day in town or at the shops - there's far too much on offer at Glencoe to give in to such tame distractions!
Set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, the centre is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities on the doorstep, there's a broad range of outdoor pursuits on both land and water available.
The Glencoe Outdoor Centre is based in a small converted country house, offering accommodation for up to 35 in comfortable bunk-bedded rooms. Built over 100 years ago the house has retained much of its character, which helps to maintain the atmosphere of an extended family home.
There's a log fire, a games room, a comfortable lounge and a large drying room, and that's just for starters.
Right next to Loch Leven, in the village of Glencoe.
