Bassenfell
Set in over 3 acres of beautiful grounds, Bassenfell Manor near Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District is the perfect place to explore your creative side. It was built in the 1840s as a country residence for the Rathbone family and it has views all the way down the valley to Keswick and beyond. The house has many nautical features; the landing containing bedrooms 1-5 looks like the bridge of a ship and the middle and top corridors mirror the decks.
The dining room, lounge, meeting room, conservatory, coffee bar, games room, yurt and grounds all get used for our workshops, group discussions and relaxing in free time.
Most dorms are ensuite with one or two having “private facilities” across the corridor.
