John Wadsworth

I’m John. Together with my wife Sarah and our three girls Hannah, Jennifer, and Eden, we live in Baillieston in the east end of Glasgow. Most of my time is split between working as a medical scientist in the NHS and looking after the girls.  I’m an elder at Harper Church, Glasgow. When I’m not working I enjoy being outside, cooking and watching Christmas movies.

I have enjoyed volunteering with SU since my university days and have lots of happy memories all across Scotland. However, my favourite SU site is definitely Scoughall, on the east coast of Scotland just south of North Berwick. The site itself only consists of a few buildings with the beach only one sand dune away, you can’t beat it for a summer holiday. Again, this year Sarah and I will be leading a week-long action packed activity holiday at Scoughall so please come and join us.
