Island Eco Adventure - GREEN
Join us for an Island Eco Adventure!
Discover and explore the diverse coastal and mountain habitats of Arran through exciting outdoor activities. Enjoy the beauty of God’s creation while having fun and making memories. End your day around a campfire, delving into the Bible and reflecting on your journey with God.
Our team is passionate about sharing our Christian faith in the great outdoors. Life is a journey, and the outdoors is a wonderful place to explore faith together. During camp, you’ll have the chance to discover and explore Arran’s habitats through activities like hill walking, bushcraft, rock pooling, and uncovering the island’s hidden gems. Most days will be spent out and about on the island, rather than staying on-site at Kingscross. We will have Max, our Border Collie along for the adventures too.
This year there is the possibility of a wild swim/snorkel session. To take part you need to be able to swim 50m unaided. If you are keen to do this then please let us know.
Your team leaders for this holiday are Anthony Luxton & Rachel Luxton.

Being on an island brings its own special sense of adventure and the beautiful island of Arran is an amazing location with fantastic outdoor activities, great beaches, impressive mountains, a historic castle and loads more to see and do. Right by the water and and with a view of the Holy Isle our campsite is the ideal place to stay for a great island holiday.
Our campsite near Whiting Bay is close to the sea and sleeping in our brand new cabins means there’s a truly outdoor feel to the holiday. There are loads of great facilities nearby and on site so there will never be a shortage of things to do here.
While this is a predominantly outdoor site there are indoor facilities which include a dining room, meeting room, toilets and showers. So whatever the weather, you will be able to enjoy a lovely meal and some meeting times inside as well as out.
Kingscross is on the island of Arran, just across the water from Ardrossan where your ferry will depart from. It is not far from Whiting Bay on the east side of the island.
