Accompanied travel: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Gretna

Our secondary-aged Creative Arts Holiday is uniquely held in the Lake District in the fantastic Bassenfell Manor which has been home to this event since 2016. Our activity programme is is based on the skills and talents of each year’s team and built up of half-day workshops after you’ve tasted all that the 2025 team has on offer. Towards the end of the week you’ll chose one area to specialise in for our final night performance and exhibition. Many of the team are ex-campers and some are employed in the arts industry.

Throw in a day trip to Keswick for rowing on Derwentwater, touring the charity, outdoor and coffee shops or possibly escaping to climb Cat Bells, it’s a great change of pace in the middle of the week.

We try to explore the Bible creatively as well as you build up your copy of our sketchbook as a journal of all that your week contained.

No previous experience of any of our activities is necessary. Bring along what might help you develop your current interests (e.g. musical instruments, ideas and sketching materials) and we’ll provide what you need to find new ones.

Your team leader for this holiday is Gordon Roy.
