Blue Trail Biking - GC1MBB
Our Blue Mountain Biking Holiday is for you if you already enjoy mountain biking and have progressed beyond relatively flat, wide and smooth trails with gentle climbs, descents, rollers and berms, and now want to develop your skills and confidence under the leadership of our experienced and qualified team.
We’ll focus our time on Blue Graded trails at various centres and locations that we can reach from our Glencoe base. Blue Graded trails are described as “Moderate” on the Route Card for Laggan Wolftrax (one of the centres we’ll visit) where you can expect “a mixture of climbs and descents with moderate gradients, technical features like tree roots and rock steps; jumps and berms, rollable features at controlled speed and variable surfaces.” We’d hope to move your skills and confidence along to take in some red trails at the end of the week.
The two mountain biking holidays will normally share the same travel and locations allowing the option for instructors to move participants between groups for safety or skill progression.
Cost includes all equipment hire.
We join with the watersports campers and other mountain bikers to share accommodation, meals and our times exploring the Bible making for a great mix to the week.
Your team leader for this holiday is John Allan.

Don't expect a day in town or at the shops - there's far too much on offer at Glencoe to give in to such tame distractions!
Set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, the centre is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities on the doorstep, there's a broad range of outdoor pursuits on both land and water available.
The Glencoe Outdoor Centre is based in a small converted country house, offering accommodation for up to 35 in comfortable bunk-bedded rooms. Built over 100 years ago the house has retained much of its character, which helps to maintain the atmosphere of an extended family home.
There's a log fire, a games room, a comfortable lounge and a large drying room, and that's just for starters.
Right next to Loch Leven, in the village of Glencoe.
