The Glasgow Primary Weekend is for children in P5-P7. It's filled with exciting activities and opportunities to explore the Bible. The event is led by Craig Morris, along with a team of accredited SU Scotland volunteers.  

The weekend takes place at Gowanbank which is the perfect place in the countryside to spend a few days away. Inside there are comfortable dorms, games room and large meeting room. On site, there are lots of activities to choose from to make this a fantastic weekend.  

The weekend is a chance to have fun doing activities together and learning from first class Bible teaching as well as there being plenty of time to catch up with friends and make new ones. We’d LOVE you to join us!  

 

Activities may include: Archery, Bushcraft, Crate Climbing, Crafts, Sports and Games. 

Please Note – there is no accompanied travel for this weekend.

What's the location like?

Located on 6 beautiful acres on the edge of Darvel, Ayrshire. With woodlands and countryside on your doorstep, and plenty of exciting activities to try, Gowanbank is a great place for exploring, relaxing, and adventuring.

What's inside?

Gowanbank is a beautiful old house with spectacular views out across the Irvine valley and lots of great areas to hang out with friends and relax. It has a big meeting room, a cosy fireplace, games room, en-suite bedrooms, and a large dining hall.

Where is it?

It is located just off the A71, also known as the Darvel Road, a short drive away from Kilmarnock and just half an hour south of Glasgow.
