CentreStage - DRAMA

CentreStage
15 - 19 Apr, Scoughall , P5 - S2, £160.00
Accompanied travel: Glasgow, Edinburgh

Centrestage is the perfect event for young performers to work on their drama skills and to have a really fun holiday. Some of the team are performers working professionally in theatre and film. All our team are passionate about getting alongside young people and helping them develop their God-given skills and talents; and also to encourage those with little or no drama experience. Through the week there will be rehearsals for an end-of-event performance, and alongside these, there will be time for fun activities such as archery, trampolining, games and an assault course.

Scoughall also has the advantage of being right by the sea, so one of our highlights is spending time on the beach together. We have exciting times exploring the Bible together and learning from God. Come along and expect a wonderful and dramatic holiday!

Your team leaders for this holiday are Phil Todd & Angela McDonald.

What's the location like?

Scoughall (pronounced "skole") sits at the end of a farm country road right by the beach, with access to some great on-site activities and surrounded by beautiful countryside as well as the ocean. The new cabins built in 2022 bring with them greater comfort and allow more people to come and enjoy the site.

What's Outside?

While situated right next to the beach and all the possibilities that that brings there is also a whole load of space surrounding Scoughall for all of the activities that we have on offer. There are areas for a campfire both up near the accommodation and down on the beach for whatever best suits.

What’s inside?

There are 2 main buildings, as well as the 5 newly built cabins. The main building houses a meeting/dining room, bunk bed dormitories, the kitchen, toilets and showers. Behind this are the cabins which are also bunk bed style accommodation and a games hall with a games room where you can play pool, table tennis and table football.

Where is it?

Scoughall is on the East Coast of Scotland in East Lothian just South of North Berwick. It is right by the coast and perfect for a beach holiday.
