The Strathkelvin Weekend at Lendrick Muir is for young people in P5-S6 from Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Chryston and Milton of Campsie. It's filled with exciting activities and opportunities to explore the Bible. The event is led by Angela McDonald, along with a team of accredited SU Scotland volunteers from the region. 

The weekend takes place at Lendrick Muir which is the perfect place in the countryside to spend a few days away. Inside there are comfortable dorms, a large games hall and space to relax. On site, there are lots of activities to choose from to make this a fantastic weekend. 

The weekend is a chance to have fun doing activities together and learning from first class Bible teaching as well as there being plenty of time to catch up with friends and make new ones. We’d LOVE you to join us! 

Activities include: King Swing, Orienteering, MUGA, Archery, Football, Sports & Games, Crafts and Social Games.

What's the location like?

Lendrick Muir is big, comfy, and easy to get to from all over the country. You can enjoy fast, furious outdoor stuff or chill with friends. Not to mention the acres and acres of outdoor space!

What's outside?

With 120 acres of grounds around the house, there is no shortage of space to enjoy the fantastic outdoor activities.

Where is it?

Lendrick Muir is near Kinross, with a beautiful setting in the Ochil hills. It’s right in the heart of Scotland, so it’s easy to get there. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both under an hour’s drive. The Borders, Dumfries and Aberdeen are all within 2 hours.
